DEGENEWS
Editorial policy
Who we are
DEGENEWS covers memecoins and high-risk crypto across every chain where they trade: Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum, Tron, TON, Hyperliquid, Bitcoin and whatever chain the degens move to next.
We report what happens on-chain, fast, and we keep the receipts.
How our newsroom works
Our articles are written by The Degen Desk, an automated newsroom. It watches blockchains, launchpads, market data and public news sources around the clock, and turns verified events into articles.
Every article goes through automated checks before it is published:
- Sourcing. Every figure must come from a verifiable source: a transaction, a wallet, a market data provider or a published report. Articles with unsourced figures are not published.
- Fact over verdict. We describe what happened on-chain ("liquidity was removed", "the deployer wallet sold 38% of supply"). We do not call anyone a scammer or a criminal.
- Token safety. Before a token is mentioned in a positive context, it is screened by third-party security tools. Tokens that fail are never presented favorably.
- Editorial review. A second automated reviewer scores each article on sourcing, tone and legal risk. Articles below the threshold are held for human review.
Sources
We rely on public blockchain data and on providers including DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, Birdeye, DefiLlama, Bubblemaps, RugCheck and GoPlus, as well as public reporting from established crypto media. Sources are linked in each article.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix the article and add a dated correction note at the bottom. We never silently edit a figure.

Not financial advice
Nothing on DEGENEWS is financial, investment or legal advice. Memecoins are extremely volatile and most of them go to zero. Never invest money you cannot afford to lose. Do your own research.
Independence and conflicts of interest
- The Degen Desk does not hold, buy or sell any token.
- We do not accept payment to cover a token, change an article or remove one.
- Sponsored content is always labeled "Sponsored" at the top of the page and is never written about tokens that fail our safety checks.
- Some links on the site are affiliate links (trading tools, exchanges). They are marked as such. They never influence what we cover or how.
Right of reply
Projects, developers and individuals named in an article can send a reply with supporting evidence to reply@degenews.fun. Verified evidence leads to an update or a correction.
